Ringler Log Home Repairs

As we set out to put things right, after too long, we contacted three people who said they had experience with log homes. Following personal interaction with yourself and one other, it became an easy choice to turn to you. Your ability to explain what was going to happen mirrored the confidence that we felt from your website. You took time to talk to me and outline what you would do to put things right. You pointed out that we would need to have a significant contingency because it was impossible to know exactly what might surface as the work progressed. You provided me with references, who confirmed that I already felt from our conversations, that you would be straight with me, give me options and that you could be trusted as a very honest person. We can now confirm that this was all true.

When the work began in June, we must admit that we expected that it would be you doing the work personally. For a moment, when Javier appeared, we must admit we were concerned. However, following a few days of watching him work and the care he took, we knew we were in good hands, especially as we knew he was in constant communication with you through pictures he was taking. He also shared these pictures with us so that we were totally aware of each and every step he took. When he was finished fixing the four corners of the house and the seven supporting beams, we knew that we had a house that was totally restored beyond its original condition.

We didn’t realize how significant over our budget spending was to become, but given we were preparing the house for sale we had to proceed. We did proceed with the utmost trust and confidence in the options you presented to us. Once again, we had anticipated that it would be you who would be on sight directing and doing the work. Once again, your crew did exceptional work while keeping you fully informed. We were particularly impressed by your solving the problem with the warping boards on the gable ends resulting from the lack of ventilation. Although this wasn’t evident as part of the original estimate, fixing it was so important to ensure that the problem didn’t reoccur.

Today following all of the repairs to the logs and the gable ends, the blasting and re-staining of the house and garage we have a home that is like brand new. We also know that as we put it for sale that the new owner will have nothing to worry about regarding the structure of the house, won’t need to concern themselves with staining the house for up to 20 years and will have a 3 year guarantee on all of Timber Wright’s work.
