David Lyman, the Owner-Operator & Hands on Builder of Timber Wright, was the first in the Province of Quebec to be Recognized for his work in this field by the Council of Artistic Trades of Quebec and his work is the benchmark, that is used, in the Creation of the Criteria and Evaluation of New Members for the C.M.A.Q.
Over the years TimberWight has been called upon to restore many Government Heritage Buildings for the National Capital Commission such as in the Gatineau Park; THE HEALEY FARM, THE HERRIDGE HOUSE, THE WESTERN LODGE. Also THE ORIGINAL R.C.M.P. BARRACKS at #6 Sandridge, road in Ottawa Ontario. As well as countless Residential Country Homes, Cottages, Timber Frame Barns and Relocation of Period Log Buildings and Timber Frames.
