Mr. David Lyman worked for several weeks as a resource person during the reconstruction of our ancestral home, which burned down on March 30th, 2011.
Mr. Lyman proved to be a very valuable advisor to us and to the contractors at Construction Langevin. In addition, Dessins Drummond benefited from his sound advice in designing plans to rebuild our historic home, which dates back to 1870.
At the time, Mr. Lyman was the only person with the skills and technical knowledge to carry out our project, which was to give our community back a piece of its history.
We can assure you that what he did for us was done with taste and in accordance with best practices. It is through his work that we recognize the craftsman. Inspiration, sensitivity, and aesthetics are the hallmarks that authenticate this craftsman’s work.
If our house attracts everyone’s attention, it is because it remains a vestige of the past, thanks to this man who masters and respects the construction methods of our ancestors.
