A few years ago we purchased a log home, the following we noticed a “little wood rot” that both the house inspector and ourselves missed. On close inspection we realized that this was not a “little” rot but it could be up to 50% of one side of the house. We started to look everywhere for someone who could repair this, after a number of poor contacts we finally found Dave. He was a God sent; after a thorough inspection and a few measurements he told what the repairs would entail. He supplied well dried, winter cut logs scribed to the exact shape as existing logs and over a couple of days removed all the rotting logs and replaced them with new. We found Dave to be very professional, an expert in his field and a person who discussed and explained every step of the job. During this time Dave gave us invaluable advice on the care of our log home. I would recommend Dave to anyone who is looking for a professional craftsman to build or repair a log home.
